Bret Nazworth is the founder and president of DM2. He and his family served for many years as missionaries in Venezuela. Besides Spanish, they learned the language and culture of the Yanomamo, a tribal group of people in the heart of the Amazon jungle. During his years as a church planter among the Yanomamo, Bret also served as a language and culture consultant to tribal missionaries in Venezuela. In 1997, Bret and his family left the growing Yanomamo church in the hands of fellow missionaries to do church-planting among Venezuelan nationals. After returning to the United States, Bret served seven years as pastor of Harlingen Bible Church before founding DM2. Bret’s years of experience as a missionary and pastor have given him the tools and vision needed to reach out to fledgling leaders in third world communities. By teaching the Word of God in a pure and simple way, Bret desires to see faithful leaders from around the world trained and functioning as mature disciple-makers in God’s vineyard.
