In 1989, Mark Musser graduated from the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. After graduating from Western Seminary with a Master of Divinity in Portland, Oregon in 1994, Mark and his wife Caren were a missionary family (Rachel, Alex, and Paul) to the former Soviet Union for 7 years where he taught in numerous Bible institutes, colleges, seminaries, and churches before coming home in 2004 to plant a new church in Olympia, Washington called Grace Redeemer Bible Church. Mark is also the author of two books. The first book is entitled “Wrath or Rest: Saints in the Hands of an Angry God” that features the difficult warning passages found in the book of Hebrews. Mark also wrote “Nazi Oaks: The Green Sacrifice of the Judeo-Christian Worldview in the Holocaust” that details the surprising ‘green’ environmentalist connections to National Socialism that played no minor role in the wild brutality of the greatest crime committed in the history of the world. Mark is also a contributing author for the Cornwall Alliance, which is a coalition of clergy, theologians, religious leaders, scientists, academics, and policy experts committed to bringing a balanced biblical view of stewardship to the critical issues of environment and development. Mark has written a number of articles for national media websites like the American Thinker, Accuracy in Media, and the Canada Free Press together with other blogs. Mark still travels back and forth to the Ukraine twice a year to teach Bible course workshops and modules, and is now also the Regional Ministry Director for Ukraine where he has really enjoyed introducing DM2 discipleship materials into the former Soviet Union.
